The campaign is over. What a long, strange trip it's been, to quote the Grateful Dead. So many surprises came out of the campaign for President (and Vice President). One was the viciousness that the national media went after Sarah Palin! We always knew they were slanted to the left. Now we know to what lengths they will go to get their candidate elected. There is no getting their credibility back now. It's sad really, and maybe a bit scary for our country.

Liberals really must be afraid of a strong woman with Christian Conservative values who connects with average Americans. Be afraid, liberal biased media. Be very afraid. Sarah Palin has emerged on the national scene! True, she is back in the Alaska Governors office, but America loves her and will continue to look to her for leadership on a number of issues. Mrs. Palin, if you are reading this, know that we are praying for you and we are proud of you!

A native of Alaska, Governor Palin has had a remarkable life and a remarkable career that in many ways is just starting. She is a lifetime member of the NRA. She used to get up at 3am to hunt moose with her Dad. In high school she was known as "Sarah Barracuda" because she was so tough on the basketball court. How tough? She led her team to a state championship while playing on a stress fracture in her ankle!

I am a commentator on the Conservative blog, HotAir.com My name is Ordinary1. A bunch of us were hanging out on the site waiting to find out who John McCain's running mate was going to be. When we found out it was Governor Palin, the place went wild with enthusiasm! Then we started hearing these stories of this rugged woman. How she stood up to corruption in her state. How on her spare time she fishes for salmon and hunts the moose. FOX News started showing video of her firing a machine gun when she visited Iraq! Then I got an idea, and it quickly caught on, and it led to this site. Here's the post on this thread that started it all:
